PATNA: :A four member team of Patna Police led by inspector Nishant Singh left for Mumbai to investigate the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput

Police team left for Mumbai following an FIR registered by Sushant’s father, Krishna Kumar Singh at Rajiv Nagar police station on Saturday.

Police registered the FIR under sections 306(abetment to suicide),341,342,380,406 and 420 of IPC,

Sanjay Singh,IG of Patna police said the Patna police team was sent to Mumbai to investigate the charges levelled by Krishna Kumar Singh.”Investigation is on:,he said.

Sushant’s father who was apparently not satisfied with the long-drawn investigation by Mumbai police which had recorded the statements of 40 people,including some leading producers and actors and friends of Sushant.

In the FIR,five people,including Rhea Chakarvarty ,her parents and brother and her sister have been named..During preliminary investigations by Patna police in last two days,names of some prominent film producers figured.

They would be questioned in Mumbai,
Immediately after arrival in Mumbai,Patna police team met the deputy commissioner of Mumbai police who is supervising the investigation.

Leaders of different political parties in Bihar have demanded CBI investigation in the case.BJP MP,Subramanian Swami, JDU national secretary ,K C Tyagi,BJP national secretary,Rameshwar Chaurasiya,LJP president Chirag Paswan ,are among those seeking CBI investigation.
In the FIR, Krishna Kumar Singh has charged Rhea with harassing his son,his exploitation,both financial and mental, defrauding Sushant of Rs 17 crores.
